Toyota also makes Grand Highlander versions that are hybrid. The base Hybrid XLE is more fuel-efficient than

the base Grand Highlander models that run on gasoline, even though it doesn't perform as well. The Hybrid

XLE has a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine and two electric motors that work together to make 245 horsepower and

175 pound-feet of torque. For the Hybrid XLE, on the other hand, the engine gets better gas mileage ratings

from the EPA: 36 miles per gallon in the city, 32 miles per gallon on the highway, and 34 miles per gallon all

together. There are all the same features in the base Grand Highlander XLE that are in the Hybrid XLE. Thirteen cupholders, a wireless smartphone charger that works with Qi Qi, seats for seven people, a seven-inch digital gauge cluster, a six-speaker sound system, and more are some of these features.
