According to Honda CEO Toshihiro Mibe, the company is working on electric sports

vehicles, and an R&D center prototype that may be an all-electric NSX replacement already exists.

Although there are few specifics, Mibe said that work is "steadily proceeding." The CEO hinted that the new

sporty EV would be a revolutionary experience, saying it will have a "completely different taste" than any previous performance vehicle from the company.

there's also a possibility that this is the S2000 roadster's battery-powered replacement.

"We're still undecided about time and mass manufacturing. However, I personally want to see it through," Mibe said to Autocar.
